Periodic rinsing is good for both the jewelry and the piercing. You can rinse your jewelry with just water while you are wearing it.
IMPORTANT! If you buy a cleaning agent made for jewelry, make sure that the cleaning agent or product you use is suitable for the material of your jewelry! When cleaning jewelry, always test on a small area first, so that the substance you use does not react with the metal in an unexpected way!
Care for and handle gold piercing jewelry with dignity. Even though they are quality jewelry made with professionalism and for the most part by hand, you should treat them with care.
For a more thorough wash, remove your jewelry. You can clean piercing jewelry, for example, by using a soft brush, e.g. a toothbrush. Remember to clean gold jewelry with a soft brush (not medium or hard toothbrushes) and water. Please note that I do not brush your jewelry too hard so that the Gemstones do not come off.
Piercing jewelry is small in size. So when you wash them, be careful not to lose or drop jewelry down the drain. Focus on nooks and crannies for possible decorations, gem settings, and other dirt-collecting spots. Rinse with running water and dry with a paper towel or soft cloth.
Goldsmith shops also sell substances specially developed for cleaning jewelry, and you can use it to clean your jewelry in piercing shops or at a goldsmith’s if you want. Professionals always know how to clean your jewelry with the dignity they demand.
Titanium as a material is significantly harder than gold. In addition, our highly polished implant-grade titanium (Ti-6AL-4V-ELI ASTM F136) does not collect dirt and bacteria as easily as cheaper titanium jewelry. Finishing the jewelry has an important role in the use and cleaning of the jewelry. Pearls, synthetic and genuine opals are more sensitive to wear and mechanical irritation. We recommend using a soft brush and just water for them.
When washing titanium jewelry, you can use a mild detergent solution. You can do it by adding a drop of dishwashing liquid and water to a small container. Put the jewelry to soak for a while in the container, after which you can proceed to gently brush them with a brush. However, please pay attention to the jewelry stones so that you don’t brush your jewelry too hard so that the stones come off.

Piercing jewelry is usually worn full time. Sometimes, however, there are situations where it is good to remove piercing jewelry so that they are not damaged. These can be, for example, hobbies where the jewelry would be prone to shocks and breakage. There are also situations where jewelry can be exposed to staining, such as in connection with hair dyeing. We recommend at least protecting your jewelry in the vicinity of dyes if you do not remove them. It is also good to protect your jewelry by hand, e.g. when spraying hair products.
Also clean your jewelry carefully of make-up and cosmetics always when cleansing the skin. Also remember to dry the piercing gently after bathing and showering so that it does not remain damp.
When you’re not wearing your jewelry, it’s a good idea to store it in the jewelry box that came with the jewelry or in a jewelry box, where it’s easy to find. Treat your jewelry with care and dignity. Please keep your jewelry away from UV light and places (for example, a bathroom) where harsh chemicals (for example, hairspray) are handled.
Even though the jewelry is designed to last, and in normal use will go with you for years, too rough handling or careless storage can damage the jewelry.
You also have to remember that real gold jewelry is softer than titanium, so always treat it with the dignity it demands.

Choose your insertion pin according to the size of the jewelry you ordered. If your jewelry is 1.2mm in size, also choose 1.2mm as the thickness of the insertion pin. The threadless insertion pin is suitable for the installation of jewelry without threads. You can also carefully bend the insertion pin slightly at an angle, so you can get it better for narrow ear piercings, such as forward helix and tragus piercings. Keep the insertion pin for your other jewelry as well, because you can use it on all your jewelry with the same thickness and fastening mechanisms.
The insertion pin is also very suitable for stretching. The insertion pin is designed so that one end is very thin, so that you can easily find your piercing hole, and the other end of the insertion pin is the size of the desired thickness. For example, if your septum jewelry is currently 1.2 mm thick, you can order a 1.6 mm thick insertion pin and a 1.6 mm thick jewelry that you can easily put in place with the insertion pin. This way you can safely reach the desired size little by little.
